Logging in to PeopleSoft

Sign in using a Direct Web Address

This method is not generally recommended because direct web addresses for PeopleSoft database instances are subject to change. If you save this address as a bookmark, and the address changes, your bookmark will not work. It is included here in case the uPortal and Bear Access methods do not work when you try to sign in.

  1. Open your web browser, type the web address below into the Address field, and press the Enter key.

  2. For the PS Production 8.9 instance, type: https://adminapps.cornell.edu/psp/psprod/

  3. Enter your NetID and password, then press the Enter key (or click OK).

  4. Click OK.

  5. Create a bookmark to this web address in your web browser.

Sign in using uPortal

  1. Open your web browser, type uPortal.cornell.edu into the Address field, and press the Enter key.

  2. Enter your NetID and password, then press the Enter key (or click OK).

  3. Click on the Employee Info tab, then look for the section on the right with the “Employee Tools” heading.

  4. Under “Employee Tools,” scroll down until you see the PeopleSoft 8.9 Web folder

  5. To use the PS Production 8.9 instance, click on the PS Production 8.9 link inside the PeopleSoft 8.9 web folder.

Sign in using Bear Access via Runway

  1. Go to Start/All Programs/Bear Access/Bear Access via Runway.

  2. Open the Admin Services folder. You may have to add the Admin Services folder:

    1. On the Bear Access Main Menu, click on the Updates & Extras Folder.

    2. Click on the Add Admin Services icon.

    3. Click on the Top icon to go to the Bear Access root folder.

    4. Click on the Admin Services folder.

  3. Open the PeopleSoft folder.

  4. To use the PS Production 8.9 instance, click on the icon for PS Production 89 Web.

  5. Enter your NetID and password, then press the Enter key (or click OK).
